Birth and Postpartum doula
What languages do you speak?
English and French
What brought you to birth work?
After years of volunteering at women’s crisis centers, a degree in journalism with a focus in women’s political issues, and empowering women through art and cultural events, I found my way home to birth work in early 2019.
Advocating for women and minority people will always be my first passion, and I believe that behind every confident birthing person, is someone that trusts their chosen birth team, feels educated and aware of their options, and feels confident with the decisions they make during pregnancy and postpartum.
What is your personal style as a doula?
It is one of my goals to continue to push inclusivity amongst birthing spaces and practices by supporting and learning from organizations that focus on adjusting language used surrounding birth, and having mentors and educators that reflect inclusive birth practices.
