Hi Folks!

My name is Laine (she/her), a new full-spectrum birth & postpartum doula, lover of plants, and mom-of-two incredible little humans! My own birth experiences, each supported by compassionate doulas, led me to this path of supporting others through one of life’s most powerful transitions.

In the final phase of my doula certification, I am looking to provide three people (and their families!) who have estimated due dates in June, July, or August and plan to birth at-home, or in-hospital in the Nelson area (within 30km radius is preferred). I’m offering my services at a special discounted rate of $200, with an additional $100 deposit that will be returned after the completion of services and required service evaluation forms (a requirement for my certification). Each package will include 2 prenatal visits, continuous labour/birth support, and 1 postpartum support visit.

As your doula, I will provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support to help you feel nurtured, empowered, prepared, and cared for - no matter how or where you choose to give birth.
